Cut Outs

These are my cutouts for this week. The first cutout is a complete cutout. There is a little bit of editing done including smoothing and feathering. The picture was taken on 4/26/10 at 5:00 in the afternoon.

The second cutout is a partial cutout. The photo was taken on 4/26/10 around 4 in the afternoon. I edited the picture this time. I desaturated it and then added some brightness and contrast.

Favorite Past Pictures

1. Kylie Mei
2. 3/14/07 at 2:00 in the afternoon
3. Flower Mound, TX
4. f/4.5
5. No editing. I took this picture of my niece when my brother's family moved to Dallas several years ago. I used his camera which is amazing. She's laying on a hammock outside so there's lots of natural sunlight on her.

1. Felix
2. 6/9/08 2:50 in the afternoon
3. Pirca outside of Cusco, Peru

4. f/3.5
5. No editing. This picture is of my friend Felix that I met in Pirca. He loved to pose for photographs and let me take tons of pictures of him. He also loved to see what he looked like because he'd never looked at himself in a mirror before.

1. Train Ride in Peru
2. 6/12/08 at 3:30 in the afternoon
3. On a train ride to Machupicchu, Peru
4. f/2.8
5. No editing. This photo was taken inside a train while going through the mountains. This is probably my favorite picture because it shows how beautiful Peru is. This part of Peru has lots of rain forests and gorgeous greenery.
1. Waynapicchu
2. 6/13/08 at 2:00 in the afternoon
3. Machupicchu, Peru
4. f/2.8
5. No editing. I love this picture because it faces the mountain of Waynapicchu and is pretty clear for how far away it is. You can see the entire village and how far up we had to climb to reach the top of the mountain.
1. Train Tracks
2. 4/24/08 at 5:00 in the afternoon
3. Rexburg, Idaho
4. f/2.8
5. No editing. I took this picture recently for another class and I really like how it turned out. I like how the clouds look. It was about to storm and I wanted to take some good shots before it started raining. It was also kinda scary to take this shot because I had to stand right on the railroad tracks. I kept looking behind me to make sure nothing was coming.
